Welcome to the Kansas City Local Interest Group

A Special Message from the LIG President, Mark Thomas

Thank you for visiting the Kansas City Local Interest Group (LIG) site.

Our LIG provides opportunities for members within the Kansas City area to share information about common issues and industry trends in IT Service Management. This allows our IT professionals to network with peer organizations and vendors. Our primary role is to provide our members with immediate value from the itSMF USA, including face-to-face meetings with guest speakers (both ITSM authorities and local practitioners), other means for collaboration and, and avenues for continuing education and information about ITSM. Our 2010 leadership team is new this year, and I must say we have a powerful lineup of leadership in the elected, appointed, and volunteer areas that have been planning a fantastic year for each of you.  The goal for this site is to provide LIG members a place to go to find information regarding our LIG: events, announcements, and the like. In the coming weeks, we will begin updating this site with important information.

We at the LIG appreciate your membership, and look forward to an exciting year. If you have any questions, ideas or comments, please feel free to contact any of the leadership team (their contact information is available on this site).

We look forward to seeing each of you in our next scheduled event. Information will be posted soon!

With Regards,

Mark Thomas

President, Kansas City Local Interest Group
